Can eny one give me advice on my mr1escort front serspesion spent good money unfortunately still to high and very stiff rs struts Gaza insert concentric top mounts 1in lowerd rear,it is 1in lowerd rear with blocks in body shop at moment having Mexico front wings fited

For what application? X-flow or Pinto (pinto weight is a bit porky) - all affect spring rate and static length. My std. springed RS has reasonably compliant suspension considering its cart / tractor heritage compared to modern stuff. Even the front dampers could be too stiff - that doesn't help!

X-flow 1700 the rear is perfect sits just fine front end had clamps on spring not by me I changed to rs 2000 struts not sure the spring are right got them Bertopower 1in lower not sure the lb would I need 2in lower to match the rear and 145ld springs

It's always been a minefield with spring rates and ride heights on Escorts unless you have adjustable platforms. Various suppliers and spring manufacturers all seem to be different in one form or another. . The easiest way's to do it the old fashioned way, take the pring off and go to a shop and compare different lenghts. It's no good using Mail order for that reason.
