    4 link axle brackets

Can anyone see a problem cutting a pair of 4 link brackets in half to weld them to an atlas?

This is because the axle casing I bought a while ago has them set at different centres to the 4 link boxes in my car, so they're in the wrong place...

Ideally they would normally be put on from the ends of the tubes then the fully floating stubs axles put on after.

If you buy new brackets thats exactly what you would have to do to fit them to an existing axle.

    I can't see a problem.
