Crossflow mechanical oil pump gear removal

    Help please chaps.

Has anyone stripped a Xflow oil pump down?

I have removed the roll pin from the drive gear but its not budging. Before i balls it up i wanted to see if i was missing something?

    Cheers all.

Try heating the spur gear up and then use a bigger hammer

I have just tried a blow torch on the gear with bearing pullers at full force...Not a micron of movement. I am in danger of wrecking it if i put any more force onto it.

I guess i will have to clean it and set it up (gap it e.t.c.) as best i can without a full strip and hope for the best...If its shot i will have to source a replacement i guess.
