XF391
excatly...thats why i asked.
also because i bought the engine with seller stating its a xf391, and he was told that from the former engine-owner......but never trust anything whcih you havent verified yourselves.
if you zoom the pic bigger you could also see another rmarking looking like a P in a circle...thats why i esimated it "could" be a pipercams marking
i know its a racecam.....the question is:
are those marlings typical pipercams? could be theoretical also a random number from an aftermarket-cam supplier
no idea about age of cam...but most likely less than 10y old.....
There is a piper 391 cam
And I remember looking at they catalogue and they list it as a 1300 stockrod cam.
A recognised tuner near me told me before he always got best figures from xflow rally engines using 391 cam which surprised me a bit as if you look at specs compared to piper 300 or Kent 244 I would thought these to give better results than 391
thoe are interesting infos.....the cam is fitted to a spare engine, which i purchased recently.....
