Ghia wooden dash repair

Does anyone know of anyone who would be able to restore my ghia wood dash?..... dont know if it can be sanded and revarnished at home....anyone done this?

Lacquering is the better way to go rather than straight varnish. If that's all that needs doing there's no reason why you couldn't do this yourself. Best to use a grain sealer then a good few coats of lacquer.

But if it is physically damaged then that's another story.
