Push fit valve stem oil seals

I need some push fit valve stem oil seals for a xflow that has had the valve guide top modified from .500" to .420" and is for use with standard stem 5/16" valves - I can't remember which car the ones I used previously came from - anyone know off the top of their head?

Are pinto valve guides .500" without a step on top?

The ones I'm after are a tight fit that need tapping on, not the cheap rubber ones that have a lip that locates on the valve guides and often lift off in use.

dont have an answer for you but pinto guides are normally 0.500 but they do have a smaller section for the seal to sit on

Ok, thanks for that. I might be able to use Pinto seals (I'm only using single valve springs so no worry about catching the inside of the spring) so if you know what size the smaller section is that could be useful.

I've found that some Harley Davidson seals fit but they only seem to be available in USA!

We used to superglue them on; as advised by a well respected builder of Sports 2000 Racing Car engines.
