After a 1.6 pinto block or full engine, one with a Oct 76 cast date would be great!

Hi,

I have a 1600 GT Pinto engine, it is complete, but I don't want the block or sump, I just want the head, dizzy, flywheel etc-etc, so if you just want a block, with crank, rods, pistons, not sure where the cast date is, this is a true 1600 short stroke engine, not a later long stroke small bore 1600.

Where do I find the cast date !!??.

I have a Capri 1600 block, bored to 1700 using 90mm forged JE pistons,Cosworth YB steel conrods and polished standard crank with new bearings. All new just loosely assembled for trial fitting. From a shelved hillclimb/sprint project. Some ancilliaries also available.
