I think you have missed that boat . Air boxes were probably binned years ago in favour of trendy K&N filters etc. Now if you are doing a concours resto and need one supply and demand dictates the price.

Your mint escort twin cam now must be worth £50-70 grand.

Why? His parts his price. If you're building a Twincam and you need the part to finish the resto which will be worth £50k plus when done its nothing. If you had one you'd want as much as you could get-just like with everything else. Anyway leave the guys ad alone.

If it is a genuine one complete etc. I would put on eBay for a buy now but ask for offers that way you could gauge it. There is a limited demand given the number of twin cams out there but you only need 1 person to need it badly. But to get a big price it really needs to be correct etc. There air boxes out there that look like right one but are not I think there was a jag or something had a similar air box.

Correct, I have a fabricated alley airbox that uses that Jag filter...

There was one on eBay for a while at £10k standard good ones are at £5k ish not sure what they finally sell for but gives you an idea. 🎉💴
