    X-Flow Titan Roller Rockers

Anyone know what the valve clearances should be be for Titan roller rockers on an X-Flow? They were set at 0.75mm cold, but I have no idea if this is correct?

    Thanks Graham,
I don’t know what cam is fitted. Would I be able to arrive at some sort of ballpark clearance setting if I measure cam lift/ duration? Or would I need to find out the cam manufacturer specs?

.75mm sounds a bit big, even if you were to allow for an increased rocker ratio. that said does it sound tappety? if not leave alone, if it does sound a bit tappey try 0.6mm that wont be far wrong for any x/f cam

Thanks Graham, I’ve tried to find out the cam specs but no luck. It doesn’t sound too tappety, not sure if that’s because of the rollers though? I’ll try them a bit tighter and see what it’s like when hot.
    Cheers

    Re: X-Flow Titan Roller Rockers

the rockers them selves wont effect whether it sounds tappety, the reason they sound tappey if the clearances are too big, is the follower misses the closing ramp and the valve gets slammed against its seat instead of being put down gently
