    Sierra, alternator wiring help

Hello. I have a alternator from a 1987 Ford sierra 2.0 ohc im gonna use in another vehicle.
i need to wire it from scratch, i dont have a single wire in the car its going in, so i need some help.

i just need to Get it to charge. I have added a photo from the back of the alt. Could someone make me a very simple wiring diagram?.

The car it is going into is a 51 chevy without any wiring. And it Does not have a indicator for NOt charging in the dash. I dont need one if the alternator doesnt need it 

the bare minimum of wiring you need is to connect one of the large B+ spade connections to the main battery/starter feed wire, if the alternator is good it will charge on its own, but you will probably need to blip the throttle to excite it first

Yes, the two large spade connectors ( B+) join further up in the loom and can be connected directly to the positive battery terminal. the Blue feed wire is trigger wire, ie the charge lamp on the dashboard.
However in saying that, none of this will work as the main voltage regulator is missing from your pic. Its the Bosch alternators, usually these are quite good and provide years of service.

Thank you so i should Get it to charge just by connecting the two big ones to positive. Or Do i need the trigger wire?
I will by a new regulator. Thats why its missing in the photo

And make sure the body of the alternator has a good earth. Via the fanbelt-adjusting-bracket or a direct connection from the alternator body to the chassis.

It must have a faulty voltage regulator

Does the regulator only go one way round?
