    Atlas bearings appear too deep

The bearings in my half shafts appear to be 2mm deeper than the grooves in my atlas, so the drive shaft flange doesnt quite sit flush with the axle flange, is this normal?

You should have a spacer to make up for the drum backplate 👍

If using bolt on brackets for callipers I think they do the job.

As per wildo Ford allowed the back plate to fill that gap.

Please don't be tempted to just tighten in the 4 bolts 😋

    Small spacer will solve it!

One last thing worth checking that you are not bottoming out on the half shaft in the diff (if you have one fitted) if not back to the spacers which is the most likeliest.
