Ok thinking of going the Xe Route in my escort mk2, i will be using the later 2lt coilpack type engine , was going to use mounts and mount it onto my worldcup x member , will this mean i dont have to touch the bulkhead . thanks in advance

Mate, seriously, don't bother with the wcxm mounts. I did and wish I hadn't bothered. It takes so long to fiddle with the angle of the engine, side to side spacers on the mounts etc that I may as well have chassis mounted it!
You will need to trim the bulkhead lip either way so, from experience, chassis mount it

Whos WCXM mounts did you use ? , i see ralloy do some ?
Are you planning on running standard ignition? I have just trial fitted a red top in my mk2 on standard ignition, on chassis mount and have had to mod the bulkhead for the cam sensor.
peter lloyd rallying grp4 one mate plus a fairly nasty looking 2nd hand one both need the mounts modifying to get it sitting right and i'm still not happy with it

Right You'll,
are you listening?, if w/c mnting, make sure you get x/m and brkts. from same supplier, through the last 40 yrs. many have made w/c x/m's, many have made brkts. but "not the twain shall meet". Go for chassis mnt. kit then you can jiggle about, left/right/up/down/back/f'ard. Ralloy mnts. are designed for engine tight to b/h at zero to be used with his x/m. As mexboy says "nowt but problems". Pick up the phone, I'd appreciate that, as can't be buggered with txt/email. Yuk. yukspeed.com
Agreed, chassis mount is best.
