    Power Steering

Drove my Escort MK2 for the first time in 16 years yesterday, just outside the workshop were I'm rebuilding it, and I'd forgot how stiff the steering is compared to a modern car. I'm getting old so I decided its going to have power steering next year when funds allow so I have a quick question. I'm making a bracket for the Bias Pedal Box adjuster to fit under the dash and I thought it would make sense to make it wide enough to also take the power steering adjuster.

Please could someone tell the diameter of the knob and the diameter of the pot. Thanks in advance.

Knob's usually can be pulled of the shaft for fitting and the pot mount hole (from memory of mine) is between 10 - 12mm with a pot body around 25mm.
