To be honest mate you may have dodged a bullet,
If your escort is too difficult for them to wrap its probably best they don't lay hands on it
I would imagine a 'basic' 3 box escort would be one of the most simple shapes to wrap - no complex or compound curves?

Re-spray won't be cheap compared to a wrap and a wrap can be reversed - paint can't!

Guy at work had his Vw passat wrapped for a discount price of about 1200 quid.

im not overly upto date on prices, but i was surprised to see a quote of only £1200 to wrap a car.
Wrapping is ok if you change the wrap after a year or 2 but seen so many wraps pull the paint off too

1200 quid for a wrap is not what i expected to see. I had my Defender (90") sprayed in 2K for 500 quid only 3 or 4 years ago! OK it was jet black but still.
No matter what the applicators say wraps are not permanent and as mentioned may not peel paint but you can see where they have been as it scars the paint underneath.
Quickest wat to devalue an escort in my opinion
