Mk 2 Escort sport rear 9" brake set

I have for sale a complete set of rear brakes from a 1600 sport . These were bead blasted some time back but I never quite got round to painting them.. Wheel cylinders and shoes included for reference only as you obviously won't be using secondhand brake parts(!) Price £80.
Parts are located in Chesterfield , Near to M1 Jn 29.

I can tell you from selling a drum brake set up about 10 years ago on eBay that they weigh nearly 20 kilo's and cost me £20.00 to post with the Post Office from London to Scotland. That probably would have been a lot cheaper by using a courier rather than the Post Office though.

I kicked myself at the time as they only sold for £20.00 and cost me nearly all of that to post and I hadn't allowed anywhere near enough for postage fees.

They were a set of 9" Capri drums with new Mintex shoes, full new spring fitting kit, new wheel cylinders, chrome plated handbrake adjusters and painted drums.

I'm surprised it comes across like that.

Then split the parcel in two. Then you can ship them for about 10-12 pounds

Haha, I know that feeling well. Happened to me with a set of wheels! Never did it again though!
