Nowt wrong with plastic jeeps, a couple of years ago i was running an RV Eagle (Cortina based) with a Rover V8 in it, even towed a caravan up to santa pod in convoy with the Escorts and Cossies.

I've had Jagos myself, the RV's are bigger but not a lot, the back axle dictates the width so a jago is as wide as an escort, (early ones are narrower, based on the Anglia) and the RV is as wide as a Cortina and about 8" longer than a Jago, it looks big in the pic but the caravan is pretty small.

nice idea, (its still red all over really) shame the gel coats so good spent hours flatting it and polishing it back by hand, wanted to do a wild willy replica, like the tamiya radio control car but its not right to paint over it and gel coat is so child friendly, my boys climb all over it
