    trumpet diameter , and how they measure up

    I need 4 rampipes/trumpets for my GSXR throttle bodies ,they've an internal bore of 40mm at the intake side , I found lots ofWeber 40 dcoe trumpets for sale , are they 40mm innerdia , or what?

    They are 40mm ID, would dellorto ones with securing tabs be better for a custom job?

    Bit late here i know, but...

    The 40 DCOE ram pipes fit nicely into the GSXR750 TBs. However they are a little too small and you will loose the taper effect if you fit them.

    I've ordered a set of these which are approximately the same diameter as the very end of the TBs. I'll be joining them to the bodies with silicone hose.
    They are too wide for the standard port spacing on the GSXR TBs (which are 71mm if you're using the twin bodies) but I'm hoping that the silicone hose will allow enough flex. Failing that I'll cut off the touching edges.
