RS1700T DRY SUMP 007.jpg
Duel don't no what went wrong with the uploading of pics??
The Sump is Magnusium from a Early RS1700T which is carry over from the Zakspeed days / along with the Front mounted Oil pressure pump & seperate Twin Scavange Pump . Also used on 1700t/Rs200 But all Still comes from the same Basic Zakspeed / Rs days.
RS1700T DRY SUMP 013.jpgRS1700T DRY SUMP 014.jpgRS1700T DRY SUMP 015.jpg
Duel this is an Rs200 evo NOS un-machined Magnesium cam cover as you can see the parts No / year & also The Boreham date engraved inside Hench the Group B De-mise
All of which i have No use for any more so there up for Grabs.
IRON BLOCK COSWORTH BDG 018.jpgAlso Genuine Cosworth BDF/BDG Block Which is where the BDG was Originally Concieved from this Mile stone where Cosworth could Produce a 2.0LTR Block was to Vaccum Braze the Cylinder liners in.
I have a Artical where Duckworth & costin show this Type of Block /Engine on the Dyno Back in the Day with the Mind Boggleing 14.000rpm & over 300Bhp On Lucas injection
Thats some Feat of Engineering & in todays Terms No Much has really Progressed you cant re-invent the wheel.
Very Rare to find in this Condition .
As 75% that Cosworth Made where Scrap with the dissimilar Metal's Involved in the Prosess with Vaccum Brazing Process. & where Not Water Tite.
Some awesome parts there !
I would be interested in the parts.
Can you pm me a contact number.

T.I.T engineering. "Feel the power!"
Parts are dripping in now find some time to finish things.
I'm still looking for 19" BBS wheelhalves.
dont mind me
stunning
That last picture......................WOW !
Looking awesome keep up the good work
It was quite a challenge but I found a set of original Ate front calipers.
My first intention was to use the original KKK turbo but after a few calculations this Garrett does a much better job ( on paper) it's capable to do 700Bhp.
The rearaxle is almost finished just have to add some pull rods to keep the axle in shape.
Where on earth did you find those calipers?? This is really coming together. Stunning!

look forward to the updates
Cheers,auld
Thank you all for the nice comments.
I would like to explain that I,m doing this because I like to do it and not with the intention to make money on it and sell it as some long lost mistery factory car it,s just the fact that this car has triggerd autosport in me.
I could have done it the easy way and use some "Halfords" bright coloured centerlocks or easy to obtain cheap parts, in my opinion the only way to start a project like this is going all the way that means building it as a exact replica with all it's faults and shortcomings and use only original or exact reproduced parts.
Nobody can fault your attention to detail! Any car wearing the kit these days needs to be well specced and if it can be fitted out with all period parts then it just makes an awesome car even more special! now hurry up and finish it
