    Pinto cam

I've picked up a cam that I was led to believe was a turbosport 285, but the only markings on it are EC249 AA14. I would have thought it would have been stamped up as to the regrind. Can anyone confirm?
    currently in the fleet, mk4 3i cabby, orion 1600e turbo, 2wrd stage 3 saph, rs1800 mk5 van, mk6 ghia X, mk6 Si, mondeo zetec S gone, 1380 mini, Rover 600Ti breaking, two S13 200sx's. GMC S15 truck, and a retro twincam Tipo..

    Re: Pinto cam

First off I have not heard of a Turbosports cam.
If the stamping is on the shaft then it’s a blank stamping
The camshaft Type should be stamped in to the end of the cam
You can measure the base circle of the lobes and the highest point subtract base from lobe and get cam lift this will at least Tel you if it has more lift than standard
