Mk1 escort heater box fitting??

Does anybody have a picture of how the mk1 escort heater box is supposed to be fitted?
Mine currently looks like this but i wont be able to fit it that way as my gearbox tunnel needs to come up to accommodate my mazda 6 speed box.

I thought that the tubes are the dash top vents

I actually had the box fitted wrong, the 90 degree bends are supposed to come straight out of the front of the box towards the boot and then point upwards if that makes sense
