    Cooling down YB

    Hi I’m looking about to see what is the best intercooler and radiator package for RS 2000 Mk2 Cosworth I am wanting something slim As possible I am also wanting to still use bonnet catch what does everybody recommend And has anybody made there own kit up and what silicon hoses fit thanks

    I think someone like Radtec did a complete package for your type of conversion. It's a much better option to source all your kit from one maker than to try and mix and match.

    Pro alloy , ive used rad tec , only had one fan , you cam get the pro alloy one with 2 fan and better made in my opinion

    mines radtec twin fans no issues even on the hottest days

    Another Radtec customer here. Very happy with their radiator/intercooler/fan combination.

    With a Mk2 RS2000, doesn't the nose cone work against good, cool air flow through an IC? Whilst the nose is designed to flow air through the rad., the IC will be located in front of it and in a potentially dead air zone?

    no problem with the nosecone for cooling a big hp yb,the extra stability/downforce is worth having over a flat front,especially with headlight covers on the nosecone
    a couple of things that can allow more air through is to hole the slots,angling the number plate helps too
