Depends what you want it for? If its a rally car base then new repro shells are available from certain suppliers at not a lot of money more than repairing a bad shell will cost.

As Katana says, repro ones available & if you want to save an awful lot of hassle you can buy them in various states of prep from road rally, Grp4 to full 'modern' specification. Even ready painted. I think the prep work is by Wales Motorsport Fabrication. Add up the shell cost, parts, paint & man hours & a 'new' shell off the shelf starts to make sense.

I have looked at a couple of the prepped & painted shells, they look very good.
