Have you got original 4 speed blocks? if so all we used to do was space the gearbox x/member back using the original 4 speed blocks and some flat steel
I have the GS escort ones and they are a good fit. Make the job a 15 minute one

Got the original blocks but not sure the garage will be wanting to play around to get them to fit....
Trying to visualise ..do you bolt the gear box xmember to the flat steel then the original blocks with the other end of the flat steel to the floor mounting holes???
