    13" drag rims & tyres

Looking at the pics from Santa Pod I see a lot of escorts running 13" rims and slicks. I want to do the same so I'm here to ask if I'm on the right track.
The car is a MK2 escort with standard, unrolled guard lips.
I have used an online tyre size comparer and the combo I think should work is M&H 8.0/22.0-13 drag slicks (10" section width) and custom made 13x8 steel rims with 150mm back space (35P offset)

    Thanks

Don't know for sure but Option 7.5" RS alloys are ET -19 offset and usually won't fit under rolled lip arches - they required the X pack arches for them to fit. If your proposed rims are ET -35 offset then you'll possibly looking at a narrowed axle?

Thanks Katana. I'm not going to fit arches and my 28 spline diff was made same width as escort. The offset I'm suggesting is positive 35, with 150mm back space. They wont have a deep dish, the width will be moved back towards the leaf springs by around 40mm
