SRD stainless exhaust manifold on LHD Escort

Has anybody tried the SRD manifold on an lhd Escort? Will it clear the starter motor? I asked both Mark Shillaber and Dave at Historic Rally Sport, they haven't tried yet. Pictures of the starter area in an rhd Escort with srd manifold might also help.
    Thanks in Advance,
    Willi

I Have one fitted in RHD car, a starter would fit in the space although it would be very hot, not something i would do, cabling will be an issue also, why not just swap the starter to the other side if you have an RS alloy bellhousing :

Thanks Erik. Swapping the starter over is not possible on a wet sump engine, the sump has the bulge where the starter used to sit on a rhd car, also the clutch cable is in that place.

You could fit a small high torque starter but i think you would have issues with heat, would certainly require alot of heat sheilding at the least.
