I need clever peoples input on a Duratec 2.3l please!!

So I'm about to start building a fast road car MK2 sport.

I've secured a 2.3l Duratec engine for it with VVT. I haven't sighted the engine yet so unsure of the exact specs, but I'm told it only has run a bearing.

When I rebuild it, I'll most likely put forged pistons and rods in it, get the engine professionally balanced and ARP all round. Possibly overkill, but I've always found upspecing stuff cheaper than failure. I'll be running either a Motec or Link ECU which will handle the VVT and Injector Dynamics injectors. I'm also thinking ITBs (Jenvey or Omex) with electronic throttle.

I'm definitely not the first person to put one of these engines in an MK2, so I'm wondering what tips and tricks people have that they can recommend with these engines when rebuilding!
