yes mate, it was a 1200 mile round trip to get it, but it was well worth it. have you got any interesting history on her.
got her back from scotland, fixed the exhaust that fell off and took it out for its 1st propoer drive and blew the rear diff, just waiting to get another diff then i'll be out enjoying the sun in her

hi mate, the diff was a 4.1 and was quick of the mark, i built the engine and got the carbs set up on bogg brothers rolling road in malton, ive got a dvd of the full build from a standard mk2 to the xpack, i originally built it as a flat front non arched in orange then decided to do the xpack, sold it last year so i could build a grp4 with a cossie lump which im still on with now.

    hi mate,
would there be any chance of getting a copy of the build dvd, would like to have a look. its a good build youve done on her, gonna need a bit of tlc soon, the doors are starting to go on the bottoms and a few other little bits and pieces.
hows your gp4 coming on, have you got much left to do?

im not to sure about the all the gold, think its a bit to much, gonna have to get rid of the washer bottle, oil filler cap, fuse cover, brake fluid resevoir and maybe the top of the rad.

ive now fitted a capri 2.8i LSD into it, its well long geared now, so ive gone and got myself a cossy engine now so the extra power should help it a bit, the wife wern't too happy that i went and spent a couple of grand on an engine 3 days before our 3rd child was born, but hey, you cant keep them happy all the time so theres no point trying.
