Alright fellas, I have been away from the classic ford scene for about 5yrs now but have been quietly working away on my mk11 in between house moves and general life stuff. But at last i have finally got the car back on the road

Cant wait to get the car to a few events this summer and see some of the amazing cars and people from this site that have been a huge help and inspiration during my latest build.

I'm just running different offsets for front and rears (obviously I hear you say )- 245/35 tyres

I have had the escort for 16yrs now so have got used to the performance in stages from Pinto to standard cossie to stage 3.
I am sure you will be fine at least you are getting straight into a car with decent grip and breaks for the power you will have.
The only trouble i had is they drive so well its easy to get over confident to quickly... i have just been lucky enough to miss hard objects

The engine is standard except GrpA head gasket, basically stage 3 but with standard T3 turbo so running less boost so around 315bhp. It is 5 linked, atlas, Quaife ATB LSD, coilovers etc.

I have an L8 to go in and am looking for a T34 or similar turbo to go on at the moment but not sure were to get one or who to do the work, any ideas?

Think we can see a common thread here..............everyone with a MKII never really finishes the rebuild

And Andy is on the money when he mentions Joe (GSM) he knows his onions and will give you what "you" want at the right buget - produces reliable, drivable motors "with pace"

but i did used to go up the Ace, my Avatar is a shot of me leaving the Ace that was in Fast Ford mag, the car used to look like this:

Glad it wasn't your one, wasn't a nice thing to go through if you believe the stories after I was found! Super clean like yours, same colour, monty arches and similar or the same wheels can't really remember it was about 6 years back!

Hi, and thanks.. fronts are 8x15 with a ET 0 and rears are 9x15 ET -12
This seems to be a standard offset for a MK11 with these arches as they where brought straight off the shelf from Revolution.
