Hi everyone! Hope you are all doing great.
Here's the power plot of another project we've been working on, it is another pushrod engine but this time for track days so no regulations to adapt to:
Blue line is power at the wheels and yellow one is at the flywheel
Here's the spec:
1600 cc
Forged rods and pistons
1300 Flywheel
Fully balanced
Around 42mm and almost 35mm valves
Huge ports head
10.7:1 CR
Kent cams A6
45mm TB
FuelTech full ignition and fuel management
Being a dizzy and DCOE fan I have to admit the driveability, flexibility and torque figures EFI provides are incredible.
We are super happy with the 153bhp as this is it's first run and there's some room for improvement.
We are still trying to find out what can cause the power to start to drop so early considering the theoretical power band of the cam, any thoughts?
Have a great weekend!
Peter
