    Cosworth

Is Cosworth still around in the UK? I see there is a cosworth-powertrain in the US of A so maybe they moved? Burtons still sell cosworth branded parts so assume they are around somewhere.

Want to look at their range of duratec parts.

YES I did Google but didn't see a UK site.....

cosworth have many divisions, but i dont think they operate a "retail" outlet so you wont find a website. caterham use a lot of cosworth products so perhaps start looking in that direction?

    Re: Cosworth

I recall going to Cosworth Engineering in 1982 to purchase a set of 85mm forged Twink Pistons for the sum of £200. It was still in the days when their V8 engines were winning Grand Prix and World Championships.

From what I can remember the stores consisted of a very small counter through the side door of a building with a man wearing a brown smock stood there. They were very helpful for saying I was just a person off the street paying cash. I know not much help to this thread but good memories to share.

    Re: Cosworth

    cheers all.

When selecting a steel crank for a 2.3 Duratec I have zero experience with any particular brand. I feel I can 'trust' the Cosworth name. Anybody have specific experiences with 2.3 steel cranks of any brand?
