    whatdiff part 2

attached is a video of me operating the diff

when I try to overide the lsd all I feel is a little resisitance and what I believe are planet style gears clunking away.

not happy with the nosie but then agaian, don't know how the limited slip part works and are informed that a gear style mechanism it could be so perhaps this is normal. i.e will oil make work as it should?

still tempted just to give it a whirl but would love to know just what it is and how to properly test it.

there are no real specialists near me that I know of here in Richmond N Yorkshire so have a looksy and see what ya think

    cheers

that sounds and looks like an allen diff heres an alfa one in bits

dont ask me exactly how it works cos i cant tell ya, although i think it works on the basis that a spinning wheel, forces the lozenge shaped spags into the drive flange for the other wheel.

but i can say i fitted it in an alfa box and it worked well
