    Braided brake line fittings?

    Guys,

anyone know what the hole in the swivel coupling is on the attached fitting. they all seem to have it. inside mine looks to be a different metal piece to the rest oft he body? Is it a locking pin to be pushed in after tightening.

    Anyone?

    Cheers,

    Justin P

don't know what its for but it wouldn't be for a pin to push threw or otherwise your'll leak brake fluid, i'm gonna see if mine have that dimple now

wasnt thinking it pushes through but perhaps locks against the outside face of the inner tube.

    cheers,

I thought the pin had already been pushed up there.

    HAHAHAHAaaaaa.
    um yeah!
they are a two part fitting so the pin simply locates the outer onto the inner preventing it from sliding off.
