I got a few snaps of some escorts down there

CheeRS maskedavenger , great to see it all piece together at last and turn out just as I had imagined ! The end is in sight

After Leadfoot Festival on Saturday , me and some mates and dad got to work to lift the engine back in without scratching the new paint

    Re: Project Alan Mann

CheeRS at 'JC' The gold is a GM colour - called Inca Gold . If you search up "Holden Torana inca gold" that's the one

Thanks 'Schobo' It came out just as I had imagined , very happy The red is also a GM colour - called Sting Red . If you search up "Holden Commodore Sting red" that's the one

Its been a mad two weeks to piece Project Alan Mann back together

    Engine bay almost back together

    Making up the dash

Unfortunately my smiths water temp didn't arrive in time so a temporary VDO is in its place but i'll swap them out shortly

Brake lines , fuel lines back in and interior panels

Engine bay complete and it started up first time

The big rush was to get it all completed in time for its final inspection to get it road legal
Both the escorts hit the streets together for the first time

    Inspection time

unfortunately I got pulled up on a few things so I have a recheck in two weeks time and a small list of jobs to work through

I'll have to wait a little longer to get it on the road but im still almost time to enjoy all the work

and a for dad for spending many late nights helping me out and even spending his birthday the day before the inspection to help do the last minute jobs , my mate Steven for giving up a few weekends to give a extra hand , xygtho Allan for helping out on sunday too and most of all mum and dad for putting up with me taking over the garage and half the house with escort parts [/B]

    Re: Project Alan Mann

CheeRS Matt75 , xygtho , niscort and thanks muckerbarry for following it from the start

Alan Mann went for its test drive with the certifier , the last process to getting it road legal

Finally all the paperwork has arrived at last

Race Licence , Club Membership , Authority Card required for using a race car on the road , homologation sticker for the rollcage , my warrant and registration for the road and my logbook for motorsport events

and the piece of aluminium (certification plate) I've been working towards that allows me to drive it on the road legally

Makes for a very happy driver (Me) and co - driver (Dad)
