Re: injector dead time Bosch 403 greys

    Hi

    What is injector dead time?
The time required for the injectors to begin to open is referred to as 'Injector Dead Time”. The injector dead time is dependent upon several variables such as the characteristics of the actual injector itself, plus external influences such as fuel pressure and particularly supply voltage.

Think Mr. runner knows what it means but he is asking for a value and/or a graph.

Hi Friends, i am from Spain
need dead time data at all voltajes and about 30psi.
yes would like use them in my standalone ECU. now have some issues with idle AFR when batery voltaje change.
look l6 , l8 or p8 with Greys tables of battery correction will be solución.
Someone could share good 403 injectors .Bin map and .xdf
Will use tunerpro to read It.
(i can not read my good P8 pectel board chip , haven't moates)....

Send me your bin file or post it here (just the eprom, without the board), I can decrypt this one and send to you the battery correction table.

Re: injector dead time Bosch 403 greys

Any injector voltage compensation that comes close to the same resistance will do the job. Once a more or less correct number is fitted (even if it isn't close) closed loop Lambda WILL work. Even if you fill all the same numbers, closed loop will still work. Batt. voltage should never vary so much that this would be the issue.

I guess something else is wrong, Lambda in bad position etc...

Hi Mr. lunes86, too far, about 500km away, but I appreciate your offer.
I am making records with the data logger and executing corrections.
Now I am getting good result. but I would prefer to use values provided by the manufacturer of the injectors.
or an experienced tuner with a good reputation.
what reader do you use? moates?
