Re: Burtonpower rear wheel brake cylinders
at £9.95 i cant imagine they are great quality,
but that said even with cheap slave cylinders its rare that we have a problem, we must of fitted 1000s of cheap cylinders over the years

Re: Burtonpower rear wheel brake cylinders
Thanks for your reply Graham.
Burton only sells the cheap brake cylinders for the Mk2 Escort.
Will see if I can get better quality ones somewhere else.
I don't want to save money at brakes, but today more expensive doesn't necessary mean better quality anyway.

Re: Burtonpower rear wheel brake cylinders
They are not that expensive generally. A quick look on ebay and £14.00 gets you a pair made by quinton hazell a brand we probably all used back in the day. They probably all come from the same manufacturer any way.

Re: Burtonpower rear wheel brake cylinders
Burton usually use QH for that kind of thing

Re: Burtonpower rear wheel brake cylinders
QH is an old school brand, used to be quality, but have gone bust several times and changed ownership, so unless you can find NOS they could be anything these days.....................
