A decent Gel Superglue would suffice. Epoxy might be stronger but holding in position whilst it cures is the issue. It will always be weaker - replacement better in the long term?
Thanks, will try some epoxy first. If I do need to replace the unit, where would I get my hands on one?
I wouldn,t phaff about bodgeing it up. OK if it ,s an Ol shi..er, personally i woukd replace it.
Boys at Escortec Horsham must have something for you.
Original lens plastic's are getting increasingly hard to find - expect to pay strong money! DON'T be tempted to buy 'repro' off Ebay or Burtons - they are grade A s**** - badly moulded, don't fit and the colours are wrong!
Is the indicator part of the lens orange or clear?
I have used gorilla glue to fix mix my mk1 fuse box. It is really strong.
