They look similar to AP's radial mounted calipers. Are there any numbers anywhere on the calipers? As a matter of interest what size brake discs are fitted to your car?

Find som smaal mark/number on the calipes. 1728 on one side. Difficult to read on other side.
The disc is 190mm in diameter.

AP calipers normally start with the letters CP. What are you wanting the information for, new pads or pistons and seals?

You could try BG Developments in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, they specialize in all forms of competition brakes.

Are you sure your measurement of 190mm for the diameter is correct? it sounds a bit too small to me for a front brake disc for an Escort.

That means your Escort must be fitted with 15 inch wheels. AP did a 285mm brake disc which was fitted to GPA Sierra Cosworth 4x4 rears.

Somewhere I have a pair of GPA 4 pots that are radial mounted, if I can find them I can then compare them to the ones in the photo.

    Re: Identify Brake calipers

It looks like a Girling / early AP caliper perhaps.
Some features remind me of a Girling AR5 historic escorts caliper. Its not an AR5 but could be Girling.

I would try contacting Questmead. They are more than just a retailer & do R&D for the Motorsport industry. Any time I have needed parts & info for Girling historic calipers they had what I needed. I bet they can help you
