My car, 'Tilly', now fixed up and used daily!
Always wanted a mark one Mexico but only had less than £10k
Seats very comfy
Boot was a nightmare!
Now all welded up and solid
This was a worry but now all fixed up !

And other junk I don't like to talk about!
A car can look so good on the outside but underneath it can be a nightmare! When I bought her, she looked good then I looked underneath and almost cried... all the effort on the outside and interior and mechanicals but the underside was left! Anyway, she's all done and fit for another 42 years! It's true... old Fords don't die they just get repaired forever!
Thanks Russ, although most of the credit goes to the gentleman who had it for 17 years! He transformed her from white 1100cc to the fake Mexico she is today. (He actually bought a real Mexico brand new in '73). Tilly's only had four owners, 42 years old with 80,000 miles... not really been used... until now! I'm doing 250 miles a week, using her for the commute to work... she's so much fun.
I had the underside all sorted by father and son team in Lancing, West Sussex... they are fantastic!
That looks stunning mate !!!! Love it
comeing on well m8
