firstly it reminds me why fords in dagenham went shite, i think it was just 20 women put over 40,000 men out of work cos they wanted an extra 2p a day, they didn't need the extra money, they just wern't happy that the men was getting more, so them going on strike stopped all production so the men couldn't work so couldn't afford to feed there families, just looks like pure selfishness from women imho, also it was based in 1967 but yet if you look carefully in the film you see quite a few mk1 capris, they haven't even been created yet, they were still on drawing boards, basically i think it was just a poorly made film to remind me why i drive past a deserted run down factory every day. all my opinion ofcorse

fittingly it was filmed in the old hoover factory at merthyr tydfil - another industry all washed up
