    My Mk1 cortina

    It’s taken me two years to get to this stage

    That a Rover V8?

    A 302 would go nice in there.

    yes thats a rover v8, most likely a 4.6 so it will have a minimum of 220bhp and a bucket load of torque, much lighter than a 302

    Ok, yea Rover V8 has got Alloy Blocked hasn't it.
    Why is it I've heard people call them a Slover V8!!!

    An old mate of mine had a couple of P6's years ago, one being a 3500s which we put a 5 speed SD1 gearbox in. Bearing in mind how much it weighed as a whole it didn't go too bad.

    Thank you for your kind words.

    Yes it is a 4.6 thor engine with a gems intake, I couldn’t
    use the thor intake as it was to high. It’s mated to a cossie gearbox
    and a 3 litre Capri back axle.
