    Which dizzy

    Hi guys
    2.1pinto
    fr30 cam
    twin 40’s
    which dizzy
    i got a fomoco with optronic and advance removed
    or
    Bosch with optronic with advance
    which one is more suitable or better

    All depends on the advance curve the distributors have.
    I am not a fan of Motorcraft / Fomoco distributors.
    Some Bosch items have a mechanical advance curve that is good for twin 40's, and you leave the vacuum advance unconnected.

    I have a Pinto with FR30 on bike carbs.
    I use a Bestek distributor on mine, which has been really good over the last 5 years. No issues and drives well with it.

    My Bosch dizzy is from a sierra (0237) model .
    will the built in advance curve be suitable ?

    Cannot say without checking it. There are lots of Bosch distributors with different curves.
