Selling and importing a car from Australia

Hi Guys, As I don'f drive my car enough I am thinking about selling it. As the price paid seems to be much higher there in the UK then here in Australia I'd been keen to hear if anyone knows of any companies that will look at buying my car and then doing all the importing etc so I don't have to.

My build thread is here - http://www.turbosport.co.uk/showthread.php?t=1187241

    Thanks for any assistance

    Cheers,

    Matt

Hmmm - yes stuff sells higher here but your car is pretty niche in a niche market! Unless you sell direct you'll never realise what you want for it. A dealer is going to pay as low as they can to you, then add on transport in Aus to docks, shipping to UK and then all the import and registration crap this side although i'm guessing its not road legal - which makes the niche even smaller! Then its got to be sold for most money! Hate to be pessimistic but working backwards -Worth / sold in UK £30k - dealer profit @ 20% = £6k, import and shipping costs, say £6k so potentially sale cost in Aus after dealer profit there @ 20% = £3.5k ........... £14.5k / Aus $ 29k - would this work for you?

Katana, I'm pretty realistic and not a greedy person so around the $30 - $35k mark AUD is around what I think is pretty reasonable.

    Thanks for the input

    Cheers
