    Pinto valve seat angle please

Hi all, I posted this in the Pinto section but then realised its probably better off in here. Cheers.

    Pinto valve seat angle please.
    Hi all,

I'm thinking of getting neway valve seat cutters probably second hand off some auction site or the other.

My question is should I be cutting the valve seats to 45 or 46 degrees?

In fact if anyone has used the neway cutters and knows the part numbers for the cutters to go out to 38mm valve seats and 44.5mm valve seats that would be handy (just so I know they've been used before and worked!).

    Cheers,

    Poe.

As far as I know they are 45*, grp1 valve sizes are outdated now, the largest exhaust you ever need to use is 37mm diameter, use a modified std 36mm exhaust valve or up to 37mm pinto exhaust ports flow more than enough with these valve sizes, then fit the biggest inlet you can find, REC, G&S valves make a 45.72mm 1.8" inlet, this gives a much better valve ratio and more bhp + torque
