    Recaro Seat Runners/Risers

Hello, I’m looking to fit a set of fiesta rst seats I have to my mk2 escort and believe with the mk2 recaro seat risers/runners/sliders (maybe Capri versions fit as well?) it’ll be a straight fit. Appreciate they are probably rare enough now but if you don’t ask you don’t get. Thank in advance

Hi, are you after the runner and the riser bracket or just the riser ? You’re right the risers don’t come up very often and when they do the price people want is sky high.
The risers are fairly straightforward in construction. I’ve a set, not selling as they are for my car, but can take photos and measurements for you so yo make your own provided you have access to welding equipment.
    Let me know

Thanks Zakspeed. I’m ideally after the runner and the riser I think. Basically I have the standard 1600 sport seats and their runners and I have a set of the fiesta recaros with no runners on them. Do you think I could cobble together something using the standard runners? Pictures/ measurements would be really helpful if you could. Thanks very much

Hi Danny, you’re half way there already, the runners are all the same, so you just need the make up a bracket to fit the seats to the runners.
I’ll dig my brackets out of storage later and measure them for you. Do you have welding kit available?

Thanks. Yeah I have a mig welder. I’m no professional fabricator but my last hobby car was a mk1 fiesta so I have had to use the grinder and welder ‘a few’ times over the years

They really aren't that complicated - minimal welding required - you need, 1" MS angle, hacksaw, grinder, vise, M8 nuts and fluxcore MIG - and an original for a pattern of course!

Thanks Zakspak. I got your pm but can’t respond until I get my post count up. I’ll respond when I can

Thanks all for your inputs as well. I’ll have a go at making them.

Ok, I’ll measure up and post the dimensions for you. Wasn’t aware of the post count for pm’s.
