    Mk1 cossie conversion

I'm changing the t5 gear box to hydraulic clutch and thinking of running the pipe from the master cylinder to the passenger side as the cut ot in the bell housing is on that side anyway.
Has anyone done it like this as I want to keep it away from the heat of the turbo .
    Manny thanks

Just run a braided hose along the back of the dash and then use a bulkhead fitting to go through the bulkhead, then another hose down to the clutch.

There's no reason why you can't do what you are proposing with the routing of the clutch pipe. Most of the very early Fords had the hydaulic clutch cylinder on the nearside of the bellhousing.
