Tyres for 7j alley cats on standard mk2 escort

ive always just had 5.5j mex steels on my car, but it’s time to have a change.

picked up some alley cats, but I have no idea what tyres I should get, the car is lowered by 2 inches

185 60 13 or even 195 55 13 ?

My suggestion has given you 2 very useable tyre sizes to look at.
The choice is yours.

You will struggle to get 185 on with car lowered.i had 185s on my mex and rubbed pon rear arch.now running 175s with no probs

Indeed 195/55 fit very well if you can find that size
