As good as it gets !
Talking of engines has anyone put a MKII RS Focus engine in a MKI or MKII yet ????
That would make a great sound being a 5 pot, give you plenty of tuning options................just a thought.
Looks fantastic
I liked the idea of the 5 pot they do make a nice sound
Cheers

But there not normally aspirated though.....And i think that is what Lloyd wants to go for, and he seemed very much interested in the V8 route though?

Well finally got it home and I am over the moon witH the end product. Thanks to Mark Harrington for the graphics and for putting up with listening to my ideas for hours on end one Saturday morning, but most of all thanks to sonny Howard for the quality and attention to detail for what I can only describe as a beautifully engineered and perfectly finished vehicle that gives me the opportunity to finish to my own specification.
Still haven't made up my mind on the running gear but at least I can begin to get to work on fuel system ,electics, seating etc................... .... and just looking at it.
I dont think its right how excited these cars get me
Stunning!

absolutely stunning , ever thought judd for a engine ?
EVERY DAY,S A LEARNING DAY
Judd would do very nicely still fancy the hyabusa v8 but a duratec is still a major possibility.
Messed about today thinning out seams around arches to max tyre profile front and rear doing homework on fuel cells would like to run a return less in tank collector and pump to minimize pipework and joints and maybe maximize safety.
Ricky the hutch's ex mk2 ran a hart f1 engine back in the day ....expensive but sounded nice .

Whatever you decide to go with I'm sure it will be an awesome machine.
Piero has a pukka engine ready to use to shake the car down And get used to the car?
Bet Julie hardly saw you over the weekend, with you tinkering away FPMSL.
Look forward to seeing it evolve and take shape, let me know if I can do anything?

Hi Guys,
First time post on this forum
Even though im at the bottom of the world, thought you may be interested in this company: http://www.synergypower.co.nz/
Theres a guy down here running one of these engines in a Juno sports cars, and its seriously fast and sounds wicked.
With the exchange rate in your favour, it may be just the ticket.
Cheers
Went to Lloyds to see what he was up to on my way to do a bit of work on the sunbeam. Lloyd has been busy with proper carbon fibre sheets making up the below and door cards

Thanks for the comments ,got a few more pictures since finishing splitter canards and a bit of bling for the interior.
Pig i will get those dimensions to you later this week.
Looking for atl type fuel cell preferably without running a return but atl is just too expensive [any ideas] also a rear wing will be needed not that they particularly look right on an escort but im sure it will help.181I4460.jpg181I4464.jpg181I4470.jpg181I4473.jpg181I4475.jpg
