    oil sender adaptor crossflow?

    Hello,
    I have this engine since many years but have a question, what sort of adaptor is needed to connect this sender on a smiths gauge ?Thanks in advance

    on another engine I have, it is this sort of adaptor.

    Perhaps it is more easy to buy another pipe with adaptor like this one or on Burton website!

    I don't think that is an oil pressure or temperature adaptor fitting - it looks more like an air bleed valve - similar to a radiator air bleed! I think your Burton's solution would be best!

    Just make sure you get the correct adaptor and pipe when you order for your Smiths gauge as the ones in the link are for a corse thread on the oil gauge like the std RS dash has.

    Thanks, perhaps also a sort of plug?? and yes I have some problems with the thread!!
    On the burton website this pipe is ok, but I need an adaptor for the block, is it 1/4NPT male male?

    Looking at the thread on the plug into the block off your photo it looks like 1/4 NPT.

    You need to find out what thread's on the back of your oil gauge otherwise the pipe you buy might not fit.

    ok I could see what sort of thread on the gauge, thanks for the part number.
    I have other questions like starter with alloy bellhousing but on another post!
