Capri seats into mk2 Escort

does anyone know if the Capri 3.0s seats will bolt straight in a mk2 Escort

For the seats to sit correctly , You would need mk2 Escort seat runners , unless Capri are the same as mk2 Escort,

which is doubtfull

This is what I’m trying to find out

When i bought the mk1 escort it was fitted with mk4 escort seats & runners

the seat was in an awful position

swapped the runners for the correct 1s & the seats were spot on

the capri runners which i had were flat on bottom no feet like the mk2 escort ones.if that helps ,you will need the mk2 runners and dependant on the the seat the riser bracket.

I've had numerous different seats in Escorts over the years, and I found one of the biggest problems was the width. Most of the time I had to remove the internal door handles to give clearance for the side bolsters. As for runners, that has always been a mix 'n'match of various bits from here, there and everywhere. Biggest problem these days is you can't just nip to the scrap yard and root around for bits and pieces, which makes life difficult.
