    Crankshaft identification

I bought a load of BDA bits this week and included was a steel crank that isn't for the BDA, does anyone have any idea what it's out of? It's got a strange nose on it that seems to be held on with two hex bolts, stroke is roughly 54mm and there's a stamping of 1971 on there which could be the manufacture date.

If you can remove the strange nose maybe you have a crank for a Cosworth BDJ (1098 cc Formula C).
